boys and girls happily smile
everything is as pleasant
as black and white
around the corner of pleasantville

everything is as simple as black and white
so why should we bring color to our lives
when isolation was resolved
in a colorless paradise

but nothing is as simple as black and white
when these two human beings run into their lives
leading them to explore the unknown land
of body and books
and to see the color
of the wonderland

but what are we supposed to do
when we are not supposed to be
in color and be different
can we hide behind the makeup
can we cover the color of what we are
and what are we supposed to do
when we are not supposed to be

it's not supposed to be like this
but it's not supposed to be like anything either
people feel; people change. that's why

so we are saved in the end
by something more than feeling pleasant
'cause nothing is as simply as balck and white
in a colorful wonderland supposed to be

this is not what i'm supposed to say in the first place
but i've forgot what i was supposed to say in the first place
something unbelievable happened a few days ago
i lost my words in the middle of the forest
and couldn't remember the missing part to make it up
whatever. it is still an interesting movie though
and don't forget the beautiful voice of fiona apple
when beetles forget to across the universe
before something's gonna change the world

at least i have to write down something though
